To achieve this qualification, competence must be demonstrated in 14 units of competency consisting of:

For a specialisation in Cleaning Management, electives are to be selected as follows:
- 4 core units
- a minimum of 5 units from Group A
- an additional 5 units from Group A, Group B and/or Group C.
- Up to 2 of these 5 elective units from Group A, Group B and/or Group C may be selected from any current training package or accredited course provided they contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome, maintain the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level of this qualification and do not duplicate the outcome of another unit used to achieve the qualification.
For a specialisation in Specialty Cleaning and Restoration, electives are to be selected as follows:
- 4 core units
