CPP41721 Certificate IV in Surveying and Spatial Information Services (CPP41721) Current (TGA Status)
Packaging Rules
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in 15 units of competency consisting of:
- 3 core units
- 12 elective units.
This qualification provides for a specialisation in either surveying or spatial information. The RTO is to insert the specialisation on the testamur, either:
- CPP41721 Certificate IV in Surveying and Spatial Information Services (Surveying)
- or
- CPP41721 Certificate IV in Surveying and Spatial Information Services (Spatial Information).
For a specialisation in surveying, electives are to be selected as follows:
- a minimum of 6 units from Group A
- an additional 6 units from Group A, Group B and/or Group C
- or
- up to 2 of the 6 elective units from Group A, Group B and/or Group C may be selected from any current training package or accredited course provided they contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome, maintain the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level of this qualification and do not duplicate the outcome of another unit used to achieve the qualification.
For a specialisation in spatial information, electives are to be selected as follows:
- a minimum of 6 units from Group B
- an additional 6 units from Group A, Group B and/or Group C
- or
- up to 2 of the 6 elective units from Group A, Group B and/or Group C may be selected from any current training package or accredited course provided they contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome, maintain the AQF level of this qualification and do not duplicate the outcome of another unit used to achieve the qualification.
